Spittal an der Drau is situated in the heart of Carinthia, directly on the foot of the mountain Goldeck. Spittal has about 16.000 inhabitants at an altitude of 556 meters. The lake Millstättersee is in close proximity. It is an international famous destination for the whole family. In this region you’ll find the biggest mocked-up railway in Austria. |

In winter you have the possibility to reach the mountain directly with a cable railway: Cross-country skiers, skiers, snowboarder, carver and lovers of the mountains will be enthusiastic about 20 kilometres ski-run with all degrees of difficulty. |
